Snail Mail Club

What is it?

The Snail Mail Club is a monthly bundle of exclusive art sent right to your mailbox the old-fashioned way!

With digital media and ai becoming so prominent, this bundle aims to give a reprieve that encourages you to sit down and create something by hand.

What will you get?

The building blocks of each bundle are a sticker, two prints, and a coffee note.

Stickers are based on a doodle from my sketchbook, or themed to a holiday or event of that month, or are coffee themed, or are really anything that has tickled my fancy recently.

The prints feature a design and something interactive. Print #1 is designed by me. It’s a splatter of coffee that’s inked over by hand in a chaotic flow of doodles. Print #2 is of the original coffee splat on paper that is perfect for you to ink over yourself, a chance to exercise your skills.

The coffee note is an essay of sorts about a coffee that I’ve picked up from a local cafe. It will include information about the cafe, about the beans, about the brew methods I used to try the beans and which one I liked most. And within the letter, I’ll include some of the sketches I did while I sat at the cafe.

Each piece of art included in the bundle is exclusive to the bundle. Check out the Archive to see bundles from previous months.

How does it work?

You chose whether you purchase on a month to month basis or whether you would like to subscribe to be automatically added to the mailing list. The 20th of each month is the cutoff date for getting the next month’s letter (i.e. you have until May 20th to get the June bundle). I send the bundles out at the end of the month through USPS and you can expect to get them in 5-7 business days.

I’m still working out all the back of house details of the club. The goal is to send the first one out for June, so I’ll start accepting subscribers at the beginning of May. To get notified of when you can officially join the club, subscribe to the newsletter!
